Ingredients:

  • 1 Ontario pork tenderloin (about 1 lb/454 g)
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) liquid honey
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) canola oil
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) each salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Remove silver skin from pork tenderloin and place in resealable bag.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, oil, ginger, salt and pepper. Pour into bag and seal. Move pork around in marinade to coat. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 12 hours.
  3. Grease grill and preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove pork from marinade and sear on grill on all sides. Reduce temperature to medium and brush pork with some of the marinade.
  4. Grill, turning occasionally for about 18 minutes or until thermometer registers 155ºF (68ºC). Transfer to cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
