Farrow to Finish - Pasture Raised

Jeff runs a small farrow-to-finish, family-run farm that believes in sustainable production. Their pasture-raised hogs are outdoors between spring and fall. During the winter season, they are raised in a safe, old fashioned bank barn with an outdoor option.

Jeff has been in the pig business all his life working with his parents on their farrow-to-finish operation in Huron County. In 2010, Jeff spent three months in Scotland working on an outdoor farrow-to-finish farm with 500 sows. During this time, he developed and refined his husbandry skills and learned how to raise pigs outside, working in close contact with them. He then returned to Canada and started his own family farm.
